Qin: Watercolour= playingwithWATER + havefunwithCOLOUR

Hey there, this is Qin writing (well, my last name became my "pen name" for blogging somehow).
I am one of the heads of the Art Council, currently in grade 12.

This year has been crazy busy, especially for people like Kayleigh (the other head of the council), who has sweated her blood over the School Show (She is the costume exec for the show. Two more showings left. Yeah for her~:).
For me... I am a total nerd: taking 4 sciences plus one math this year, full schedule, no spare. Well, it's actually not bad at all. I enjoy all my courses, and especially the painting class with Kayleigh, Anastasiya, Coco, Kelly, Kristina and Gloria(a few other girls on the council).
For ArtCo, we've been working on our next-year-event, the Costume Show (not gonna get into details)...

Both art class at school and doing art in my spare time delight my life indeed.
Art is indispensable.
lalala...

I'd like to share a few watercolour paintings I did last winter.
These are very Chinese. I know!

It has a Chinese name:

Watercolour is not the material I use the most often, but I LOVE it.
If say acrylic paints seems to be forgiving for the mistakes on canvases, watercolour are not the same at all. But it doesn't mean helpless. I did paint a few stokes I did not want but I blended it with water or surprisingly created something nice out of my mistakes.

If someone professional criticizes me for not using the materials properly, the only answer I would give is "well, I was just playing with it XD."

Just have fun with whatever you are using.
I hope this is the message you get from my post.

If you like my paintings and want to know more about me. You can visit my blog @ http://qintheory.blogspot.com/

STRESS from school has made me an extremely slacking blogger, and as a result, my blog hasn't been updated since September! The loss of my camera (used for taking picture of my visual works) certainly contributes to my absence from Blogger as well.
However, you can take a tour among my old works and my portfolio. It will be lots of fun because I always share my stories behind them:).

That's all.

FOLLOW YM ART COUNCIL.
You are gonna be amazed by the talents.
Keep your eyes OPEN!
